The meeting was attended by Dr. Yong, Advisor to the President of the University, Dr. Bing, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education, Dr. Zhong, Dean of the School of Cultural Heritage and Information Management, Dr. Wei, Deputy Head of the School of Law, and Dr. Su, Director of International Academic Relations from Shanghai University. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Yousef Hojjat, President of the University, Dr. Maryam Kamali, Director of International Academic Relations and Head of the International Unit, Dr. Mirzaei, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities, Dr. Parsapour, Dean of the Faculty of Law, and Dr. Rezazadeh, Vice President of the Faculty of Management and Economics.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. Hojjat introduced Tarbiat Modares University, and Dr. Kamali also presented a report on the status of international students and the university's cooperation with higher education institutions abroad. Then, Shanghai University was also introduced by its Director of International Academic Relations.

Another topic of the meeting was the review of the memorandum of understanding that had been signed between the law schools of the two universities in 1403. Shanghai University officials also proposed the establishment of a research center titled "Center for Chinese Law Studies in Iran" at Tarbiat Modares University; The aim of this center was stated to be to expand scientific exchanges and promote legal interactions between the two countries.

The two sides also emphasized their readiness to develop future cooperation, including holding short-term courses, international conferences, professor-student exchange, attracting postgraduate students, publishing joint articles, and cooperating in the restoration of historical monuments. Finally, the implementation strategies of these cooperations were discussed.
